Details:
At first, we didnโt come here to see the island. We came for waves.
Raglan has a way of making you forget everything else. Flawless long walls, the same faces, tide after tide. Easy to stay and get stuck in familiarity.
So we left.
Pointed the van south and kept going. Past farmland, past empty stretches of coast, into places that felt further removed from everything we thought we were chasing.
Thereโs more to this island than waves. Waterfalls, cliffs, wind, silence. The kind of landscape that makes you slow down, even if you donโt want to.
But the idea never changed. Escape familiarity to find something worth stopping for.
