Details:
This place has seen north swells from cyclones before but this one was different. A rare and weird weather pattern saw a big ground swell get it's direction shifted and hit the coast from the perfect angle for this stretch of beach that is usually a close-out.
It started at 2pm in the afternoon and finished on last light with no trace the next day. Pretty stoked to have been there for it, the biggest and wildest I've seen this place. Even this footage does not do it justice, I would have needed an army of drones to catch all the crazy peaks going down this day.
I also managed to get a pretty epic print this day which you can view on my website bellow.
