Arguably the best break in the whole of the Philippines, Cloud 9 is a hollow reef setup on the small Island of Siargao. It's famous for its perfect righthand tubes, and was pumping out plenty yesterday morning at sunrise. A WSL contest will be running here very soon, so there should be some talented surfers out surfing this spot in the coming days. Siargao is still recovering from a devastating typhoon, but the Island seems to have bounced back well and the mass damage and destruction that was caused last December is not obvious at first glance.
