Weirdest Wave I've Ever Surfed

On a recent trip to Japan, Blair Conklin and Dylan Graves attempt surfing a wave that gets reflected off of a massive sea wall. There is a very good chance that Dylan and I were amongst the first people to surf this wave. Getting out of the water was not easy! You had to wait for a wave to wash you up the wall in order to grab the only good rock hold we could find. this made each effort to jump off the wall and on to a wave very difficult. I have seen a lot of cool and weird waves in my life and this is one that I will for sure be trying to surf again. It was such a fun challenge trying to drop in to a wave that was cresting up on the wall. If you timed it right, the transition was super similar to what you would expect on a skateboard. Huge thanks to ย โจ@DylanGravesYTโฉย  for joining on this little strike mission and pushing me to land an acid drop. The session would have a been a whole lot different without him there. Also a huge thanks to ย โจ@ryunosuketomizawaโฉย  for filming and driving me all over the place. Your help made this trip and extra special one for me.
