Dunes is a series of beach breaks along Noordhoek Beach in Cape Town...it involves a long walk, you can never tell actually if its any good until you get there...and in summer the wind can suddenly pick up and howl offshore, leaving you stuck with a 2-3km hike back to your car in the gale...so the only way is to go...and hope there's something...after a few fruitless walks, this was one such day...turns out it was pretty OK, small but fun and uncrowded, with not much wind.
