Há sempre alguma dissonância entre o destino como nós o imaginamos, e como ele realmente é. Por um lado, porque há sempre coisas para aprender sobre o lugar. No caso da nossa viagem pelas Maldivas, experiências que foram desde a estadia num resort (ao que eu não estou nada habituado) até à restauração de corais com os The Coral Planters, permitiram-me ver as várias caras das Maldivas. Por outro lado, porque mesmo as coisas que julgávamos já saber podem-nos surpreender. Nós, por exemplo, já sabíamos que íamos apanhar ondas boas. Mas não estávamos à espera de encontrar este mar com cara de Indonésia. Acredito que as Maldivas ainda tenham forma de me surpreender, por isso, volto este ano.
